Our Seri Rugs are woven in Chimichagua, Cesar, in a valley between the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and the Serranía del Perijá bordering the Magdalena River in northern Colombia. Approximately one-third of the municipality of Chimichagua is water. Jadis, our master weaver for the Seri Rugs is originally from this region, and the water inspires some of her creations, our Seri Rug, LA ISLA is a tribute to her work. Seri Rug is the perfect runner or area rug to enhance any interior space. It is made from 100% Palma Estera, a natural fiber that grows in the leaves of a common palm from the Caribbean side of Colombia.
