Surrounded by the Magadale River, Mompox is a town rich in flora and fauna. Inspired by the river and the birds in the town, we introduce you to Interdiseño Monpox22 design set #2:
Egret and Bocachico. 🪶🐟 Two coat hangers handmade from iron using traditional blacksmithing techniques. 🔥 🔨
For this project, we worked with the incredibly talented Glenys Rocha Pupo. This master blacksmithing worker learned the craft from her family and by being part of Escuela de Arte y Oficios and el Sena even though she was told that a woman was not supposed to be learning blacksmithing.
With her red hair, incredible fiery soul, sweet smile, and strong presence, Glenys taught us a lot.
